Mr. Lim worked with Dr Pao as the Vice President and General Manager of Waterjet International (Asia); and, he had several management positions in Singapore Aerospace Engineering.

Mr. Lim has spent the last five years in China in managing investment funds and consulting:

He oversaw a fund management company in China, a joint-venture fund of United Overseas Bank of Singapore and Shenzhen Capital Group Co. Ltd. His manages teams of professionals that invest in companies, mainly in China, as well as manage a portfolio of companies.

He founded a venture capital firm in Shanghai in 2000, Venture TDF China LLC, and served as its Managing Partner. He had successfully raised a fund of US$25 million for the firm.

Prior to that, he has more than five years experience in managing venture capital funds and fund-of-funds in Singapore:

He was the General Manager of the NSTB Holdings Pte Ltd, a company of the Singapore’s National Science & Technology Board (“NSTB”), which sponsored a US$1 billion Technoprenuership Investment Fund in 1999 to accelerate the development of the venture capital industry in Singapore.

He co-founded Venture TDF Group in 1995. Currently, TDF Group manages three venture funds, totaling US$150 million.

Mr. Lim received his MBA from the University of Hull, UK, and B. Eng. from University of Glasgow, UK.
